A guide for every variant

The rules

How it plays

  1. Post rotating small and big blinds before private hole cards are dealt.
  2. Bet over four streets: pre-flop, flop, turn and river.
  3. Fold, check, call, bet or raise when legal.
  4. At showdown, the strongest valid five-card poker hand wins the pot.
  5. Tied winning hands split the table-chip pot.

Played as a challenge. A game is a sitting of hands between the same seats — table stakes, no rebuys, coins as counters. After each hand the results compare what you paid into the pot with the strength you actually held: the discipline of measured risk, taught one hand at a time.

Availability note. This game arrives after the first catalogue, with its own release date still to be announced. Everything on this page describes the game as it will ship.

Ways to play

2 games for the price of one.

Every variant here is a game of its own — its own rules and legal-move checking, its own tables, its own illustrated guide, its own daily challenge, its own achievements and its own taught first game that walks you in. One purchase brings all 2. Each option below changes the table while keeping the engine's legal-move checks in charge.

No-Limit Hold'em

Texas Hold'em: two hole cards, no-limit betting, 2–6 players.

  • No-Limit Texas Hold'em on a 52-card deck. Each player receives two private hole cards and shares five community cards across four betting rounds (pre-flop, flop, turn, river); the best five-card hand from any combination of hole and community cards wins the pot at showdown.
  • In no-limit a player may bet any amount up to their whole stack at any time, with one house limit: this table plays no side pots, so nobody may commit more in a hand than the shortest stack dealt into it.
  • Blinds and the carried-in bankroll are template options.

Pot-Limit Omaha

Four hole cards — exactly two must play — with pot-limit betting.

  • Pot-Limit Omaha deals each player four private hole cards instead of two.
  • At showdown your hand must use exactly two of your four hole cards plus exactly three of the five community cards — four hearts on the board with one in your hand is not a flush.
  • Betting is pot-limit: a bet or raise may add at most the call amount plus the pot after the call.
  • More cards mean stronger hands and closer values, so drawing to the best possible hand matters far more than in Texas Hold'em.

Every online table is a ladder. Each Arena table and each tournament above comes at four entry levels — Challenge 10 GC, Contest 50 GC, Championship 200 GC, and a Friendly 1 GC table that returns the coin to everyone who finishes. The higher the entry level, the more places share the reward; aiOrion keeps 10% of a paid table's entries to pay for running the online game, and nothing from a Friendly one.

Make it yours. Start from any of these, adjust the settings the game allows, and save it as your own template. Online tables start the same way: copy one of the Arena tables, then set the entry, the rewards and who may join.
