Four roles for the AI

What is the AI to you?

Every aiOrion game puts an on-device AI at the table. In the classics it is your opponent, and the whole catalogue is sorted by what sits between you: Italian cards, cards, boards, skill games. The originals give the AI three more roles, and each role is a family of games with its own way of playing. This page is the map of those roles; a game's own page says which family it belongs to.

The four roles

01 · Your opponent

Outplay it.

The classics: a pack, a board, the AI across the table at the level you choose, and calm about losing. The Front line adds an original mechanic to the same role: compose a line on a shared reveal, where every move you make changes the ground the AI plays on.

Families · Cards, Boards, Front
02 · Your staff

Talk, and they act.

You command by conversation. Your officers read the situation, propose plans and carry out your orders, and the staff you build and train is what you bring to the table against another commander.

Family · Command
03 · Your partner

Teach a companion. Compete together.

You train an AI companion, then perform beside it: a pair against other pairs, each human with the partner they shaped. The companion plays your seat with you, never for you.

Family · Duel
  • The first Duel titles are being built. None is in the catalogue yet.
04 · The keeper of a secret

Question it.

The AI knows something you do not: a hidden rule, a truth it guards. You test, read the evidence and deduce. Deduction is the oldest sport of the mind, and the AI is a patient keeper.

Family · Mystery
  • Eleusis — the Mystery family's founder

How the catalogue reads

Sorted by the table. Told by the role.

The catalogue filters, the icon grounds and every game's category say what is on the table. A family appears on a game's page only when that game is in the catalogue, and a family gets a page of its own only once it has several titles to show. Nothing here is a promise of a date.
