The rules

How it plays

Strip the deck by player count; with four players the classic deck runs from seven through ace.
The dealer chooses and posts the invito before five hidden cards are dealt.
Opening requires at least a pair of Jacks; if nobody opens, redeal and grow the pot.
Players who meet the opening may exchange zero to four cards.
The opener leads a pot-limit final round; in the Italian order a flush beats a full house.

Played as a challenge. A game is a sitting of hands between the same seats, played for coins that are counters and nothing more. After each hand the results count your draw's exact odds of improving, from the very cards you had not seen — every exchange teaches a little probability.

Poker all'italiana

Poker all'italiana: five-card draw, dealer's invito, dressed pair to open, flush beats full.

Standard Italian poker — five-card draw on a deck stripped by player count (lowest card = 11 minus the players; four players play 7 up to Ace).
The dealer decides the invito, opening requires a pair of Jacks or better and the requirement climbs to Queens, then Kings, then back to Jacks on each deal nobody opens, the others call, raise or quit, everyone changes up to four cards, and the last raiser leads a pot-limit final betting round with a configurable raise cap.
Italian ranking: the flush beats the full house, and the ace plays low for the minimum straight.

Teresina

Italian five-card stud: one card hidden, four face up, a betting round after every card.

Teresina (Telesina) — Italian five-card stud on the same deck stripped by player count (lowest card = 11 minus the players).
The dealer posts the invito, then everyone receives one card face down — your hole card — and one face up, and the betting begins.
The third, fourth and fifth cards are dealt face up one at a time, each followed by its own betting round: four rounds in all, and no draw.
In every round the player showing the best cards speaks first.
Because almost every card is public, you play as much against what the table is showing as against your own hand. At the showdown the hole cards are turned and the Italian ranking decides: the flush beats the full house, and the ace plays low for the minimum straight.

Every online table is a ladder.
